Raising a child isn’t an easy task for a parent. And this, Arwii himself had to live it, despite his status as god and creator of this world.
Without the gentle and understanding presence of Kala by his side, he would have failed with his daughter, Donii.

From the wise gray bear, the god learned many things. She confided in him without fear or shame of the mistakes she had made when she had her first litter. But she told him about the many things she had learned. Among other things, she learned to be patient, compassionate and understanding deeply.

Wise Arwii learned from Kala. And he learned so much from her that he wanted to share what he had learned with other mortals, who would also need guidance.
So, with Kala’s assistance, he created a series of trials. Intended to test mortals as much as teach them how to raise their offspring. To show Patience, Compassion, and Deep Understanding. Once the trials were over, Arwii would give his blessing in the form of a bracelet created from his paws and marked with his emblem, proving all their success.

These trials became beloved by mortals who flocked to have the chance to have this glorious blessing. And this despite the dismal presence of K’Malou who sowed corruption and chaos in his path.
But everything came to a halt when, after fighting his brother, Arwii withdrew to the depths of his lair in the Caves that bore his name. Convinced that she had lost the love of her life, Kala also disappeared without a trace. Pilgrimages to the Arwii Caves became less frequent and finally stopped. Time erased the Arwii Trials from memory and the Caves remained unvisited for millennia…

…at least until the return of the Goddess Umbru, who brought back with her a lot of lost knowledge.
