Welcome!
You have a few items left over in your stash and want to exchange them for Milestones and their rewards? On this page you will find all information you need in order to do so!
Generally, Milestones can be compared to achievements players can get in video games for doing certain things for example. Unlike in video games however, our Milestones are not automatically unlocked after doing specific activities!
The first step towards a Milestone is having the required items in your stash. All of these items can be found during regular activities (Hunting, Fishing, Discovery and Foraging) and Expeditions. Be aware that event items needed for Event Milestones are only available during certain times of the year and might take longer to be gathered!
While the majority of our Milestones only consists of one (1) part and therefore only have one requirement and reward, there are currently five (5) Milestones which are a bit more special. Each of them has five (5) parts, which have to be done in the correct order and claimed step by step (part 2. Bad Boy of the “Protecting the Homelands” Milestone can not be claimed before the first part, 1. Hunting Novice, was officially confirmed as claimed by an Admin for example)
As you may notice looking through all Milestones, a handful of them have some sort of restriction in their reward in the form of “1x [insert reward here] for the first time, 1x [insert reward here] for every other time submitting this Milestone”. This basically just means that you will get a different reward once you submit a Milestone the second, third, fourth, etc. time compared to the first time. The reason behind those restrictions is rather simple: we wanted to allow for some more rare and exotics rewards without making the whole system vulnerable to being exploited.
Next to rewards like regular items there are also some Milestones giving you a Title. Officially, a title is listed as Cosmetic Item in Prehistoria, even though it does not add anything to your beasts import image. Instead it adds something to its name, e.g. “Addi D950, The Honored”.
Any title can be removed again with either a Cosmetic Remover I (destroys the title permanently) or a Cosmetic Remover II (removes the title from your beasts but it will be returned to your stash). It is also possible to simply overwrite an existing title with a new one by just applying it.
Unused titles may be sold for 1000 Beads through our Stash Cycling Journal under “Sell & Stash” in the Stash category.

Where to submit your Milestones:
– To claim a Milestone head over to our Rank and Progression Cycling Journal and submit a comment under “Milestones” in the Other category.
Where to apply your Titles:
– To apply a title to one of your beasts head over to our Stash Cycling Journal and submit a comment under “Apply Non-Cosmetics” in the Imports / Genos category.
Basic rules / requirements:
– All Milestones may only be claimed once per beast.
– Required items have to be in your stash.
– Milestone can be claimed all year round and in any order.
– A beast may only have one (1) title at a time.
– If the title was not removed with a Cosmetic Remover I or II it will be permanently destroyed after applying a new one.

Protecting the Homelands:
1. Hunting Novice:
“The merchant has heard of your beasts hunting prowess and has a favor to ask. She needs scraps of hide and fur in order to make some of her wares, but no hunters have returned since the increase of predators stalking about the surrounding lands. She asks if you’re up to the task of bringing her what she needs.”
Requires: 5x Mauled Pelt

2. Bad Boy:
“The merchant has had problems with nearby wolves ravaging her supplies of food and items, as well as injuring customers. She has asked that you bring back 5 Warm Wolf Furs to prove that you have vanquished the threats to the surrounding lands. She’ll be happy to provide something of value in return.”
Requires: 5x Warm Wolf Fur

3. White Lions:
“You have proven yourself to be a decent hunter, however the merchant needs items that are a bit more dangerous and harder to acquire. If you’re up to the task, she has asked that you take down some rare white cave lions.”
Requires: 4x Pristine Lion Fangs and 2x Silky Albino Fur

4. Handyman:
“That was no easy feat, but you accomplished it in full. The merchant would like to challenge your skills once more. The hut needs warm and heavy fur for insulation and plenty of winter clothes for the cold months. Bring her the furs that she needs.”
Requires: 3x Striped Pelt and 2x Silky Albino Fur

5. Mammoth Stalker:
“Once again, you have proven your master hunting skills. The last favor the merchant would ask of you is a difficult one. Her tribes chieftain has become mysteriously ill and none of the healers have had any luck mending his body. The merchant believes it’s his spirit that is cursed. She has asked you to bring her a number of items from the larger beasts around the plains.”
Requires: 2x Wooly Rhino Horn and 1x Cursed Mammoth Tusks

Scrap Collection:
“As you’re walking back from your hunt, a man runs up to you. He points frantically at the mauled pelt draped on your shoulder. “THAT!” he shouts in delight. “That’s what I’ve been looking for all this time! Do you have any more of those? Or Bow Strings? Or Dewclaws??” You’re a little confused as to why this man wants all your scrap, but you decide to help him get the items he wants.”

Overpopulated:
“Some humans noticed an overpopulation of deer and elk around their villages, destroying young trees by eating their bark and new shoots. They already tried to chase them away but the animals keep coming back. Desperate they ask you for your help and offer a considerable reward in return!”

Balance and Providing:
“Being a hunter is about more than just killing and bringing home trophies. It’s about keeping the balance of nature and providing for those who can’t provide for themselves. Prove your worth as a hunter and gather pelts of mutated creatures. This will provide beautiful, warm furs and meat as well as balance out the population of the species.”
Requires: 2x Chimeric Pelts

1. Humble Beginnings:
“As you sit on the docks of a fishing village, your stomach growls. You’re hungry! There’s plenty of food out in the ocean, so perhaps you should learn how to catch some. You turn to a fisherman nearby and he says that he’ll show you the best bait for bringing in the big ones if you bring him some baubles that recently washed up onto the shores.”

2. Salt of the Sea:
“The man thanks you and decides that you should try out the net for yourself. Also, he asks you to bring him back anything that you have extra, and he’ll pay you for them. He shows you to a small stream, nestled in the crook of the land. What you are waiting for?! Go see what you can catch!”

3. Harder Shells, Harder Prey:
“There’s more than just scaly fish out there. As you look across the waves, you see large shells gliding through the tide, then submerging below the rolling waves. You decide that creatures like these are your next target.”
Requires: 4x Henodus Shell and 2x Horseshoe Crab Shell

4. The Sea has Teeth:
“Standing on the sandy shores, you decide that the shelled prey was too easy and you want a better challenge. The deeper waters of the coasts are home to many predators, some larger than you. A fisherman has agreed to let you use his boat and fishing supplies as long as you let him keep something you catch.”
Requires: 3x Megalodon Tooth, 1x Golden Coelacanth Scale and 1x Large Shining Scale

5. Monster Hunter:
“As you helped haul in the last catch, you spot a megalodon tooth stuck in the hide of one of the other creatures. There’s even larger prey to catch, but this will not be an easy feat. A shark the size of a whale roams these waters terrorizing boats and fishermen that cross into its territory. Put a stop to it and become the apex predator of the sea!”

Hungry:
“An old fisher returned empty handed after a long day. Spotting you he asks if you could help him out a bit and get some fish so he and his family doesn’t have to hunger the next days. Not being able to say no to the poor soul you went towards the nearest beach and caught some fish for the human.”

Life on the Seafloors:
“A coastal villager has asked for your help. She wants to study the creatures and plants that roam the seafloor to see if they have any medicinal, or edible, qualities. However, she’s terrified of the water and won’t go looking for herself. Bring her anything you can fit in your packs and she’ll reward you for your time.”

The Hardest Armor:
“The old medicine woman of one of the northern tribes needs hard materials to create a special hide outfit for one of the chieftains warriors. She asks if you would bring her some supplies as she’s too feeble and old to gather them herself.”

Lending a Helping Paw:
1. Getting the Groundwork:
“A nearby tribe is getting ready to build their chieftain a new longhouse. The chiefs head builder is almost ready to begin, but needs some extra materials. He has asked for you to fetch some needed items so they can get started.”
Requires: 5x Sinew Rope

2. Supplying the Masses:
“Now that building has begun, people are scurrying about working hard on their tasks. There is a problem, however. Some of the men have worn out their tools. Hatchets have been broken chopping the wood needed, skinning knives have lost their razor sharp edges, and the chiefs prized spear head has been misplaced. Maybe it would be a help to resupply them and find the missing spear tip.”

3. Chopping It Down:
“The construction is almost complete, but the team is running out of lumber and most are afraid to go out into the wilds alone as they are but simple farmers and villagers. Go out into the wilds and bring back what good timber you can find and anything else that might be useful to finish construction.”

4. Finishing Touch:
“Thanks to you, the longhouse is almost nearly complete! It needs an opening fit for a chief. The head builder thinks that only carved tusks and fancy decorations will show the magnificence of the tribe and would like for you to fetch him what is needed to build the perfect entrance.”

5. Honoring the Chief:
“The beautiful building is standing and the tribe has you to thank for it! People are bustling around the village, readying gifts to place in the new adobe for the chief and his wife. Perhaps you can leave something especially beautiful for them as a thank you for their hospitality and kindness in letting you stay.”

Crafty:
“An old woman sits on the side of a well worn road humming to herself as she threads and braids a beautiful woven bracelet. As you marvel at the beautiful pieces she has on display, she asks you for your help. The secret in making these items is repurposing old discarded jewelry she finds on her long journeys. She says that she will pay you well if you bring anything you find to her on your travels.”

The Shaman’s new Clothes:
“The resident shaman is very much naked. He asked you to get him some new clothes so ‘he does not have to feel the breeze on his buttocks anymore’. Nobody knows how exactly he ended up in this sort of situation. On the other hand, nobody is really surprised either…”

1. Curing What Ails:
“As you wander down a less traveled road, you hear the growls and rumbles of an animal in pain. Creeping closer to the sound, you find an old worg laying off to the side of the path, barely concealed by the bushes. His hide shows two large gashes closing up, but maybe with the plants nearby you can make something that will ease his pain and prevent infection.”

2. Helping the Helpless:
“Continuing down the road, you spot an odd sight. A very young girl is frantically foraging through the bushes and growth with tears streaming down her face. You rush to her to see what happened and she tells you in a rush, “I’m an apprentice medicine woman, but my mentor has fallen very ill. I can’t seem to find the herbs she’s asked me to fetch for her! And I’m not even sure where to look!”. Tears continue to stream down her frustrated face. Help the girl find the plants she needs.”

3. Scrounging for Delicacies:
“You finally reach a small village to rest for the night, but it seems you caught them at an exciting time! They will allow you to stay, but only if you bring your share of food to the feast they have prepared for the nights celebration. It’s a tradition of this tribe for everyone to bring food or dishes to share with others during this big feast. Time to scrounge up something tasty!”

4. Best Candy of All Time:
“Saying goodbye to the villagers, you continue on your trek as soon as the sun rises. Not an hour into your journey, a man with a crazed look in his eye runs up to you and asks for your assistance with making the “best treat of all time”. He hastily tells you what ingredients he needs and wanders off laughing to himself.”

5. End of the Road:
“Your trip has been a long and crazy one, but there’s still one last thing to do. You overheard about one of the best cooks in the north needing some of the most exotic ingredients for their newest experiment, trying out something sweet. They’ve agreed that if you can forage up the ingredients, they’ll give you a huge portion free of charge. Prove that you can forage like the best herbivore out there!”

Flying Tomatoes:
“A weirdly clothed shaman arrives in your village and wants to show you a special new dance of his. When he started his show you all watched him in shock before some ran off to get tomatoes.”

1. Sneaky Snek:
“You come upon a small village in the depths of the jungle. The village chief tells you that they are worried a large snake has been hanging around the outskirts of their village. He asks if you would be willing to investigate for clues.”

2. Lost and Found:
“As you finish your investigation, a young girl comes up to you. She sniffles forlornly and tells you she has lost her favourite bracelets. Will you search for her missing jewelry?”

4. Gathering Supplies:

5. The Finishing Touches:
“It’s time to finish the elegant headdress for the chief. The elderly woman only needs the final supplies to complete the headdress.”

“Several of the villagers are working on a brand new house. However, they are running low on supplies. They ask for your help to gather building materials.”

“A young villager sits alone, crying quietly. When you approach, he tells you that his friends laughed at his attempt at a snake figurine, saying it looks like poop and threw it into the jungle. You take pity on the boy and help him and his figurine.”
