Umbru Eclipsed
Seasonal Adventures are a group activity that allows you to participate in unique storylines, get exotic rewards, and obtain an even more unique badge for your beast’s import. Some stories will differ in paths you can take, the lore included, and other aspects of storytelling. You’ll never know what twists might be thrown your way!

Umbru’s Familiar:
Brings back an extra item in any activity when its beast friend is depicted at night.
The story begins here:
Night has fallen on Prehistoria. But none fear the darkness of night, for they know the goddess Umbru watches over the night. You have travelled to the Star Stones to see Umbru herself, but as you approach, something seems off. It’s too quiet. The Star Stones themselves glitter in the moonlight, their constellations glowing, but something is missing. Umbru herself is nowhere to be found. But where has she gone?
Start Quest:
As you look around the Star Stones, you are greeted by an owl – but no ordinary owl. This owl greets you as Umbru’s Owl Guardian. They explain that Umbru is not here, but should you wish to see her, you may seek her out. There are two leads the owl has — either in the forest nearby the Star Stones, or along the Huxlu River. Which lead will you follow?

Path 1 – Quest 1:
Taking heed from the Owl, you follow along the Huxlu River. As you walk alongside the river, the gentle flowing water reflects the moonlight. It’s a beautiful sight indeed. You watch the shimmering water, but as you hold your gaze, you see the reflection of Umbru herself. Surprised, you look up, but she is nowhere to be seen. Again as you walk further, you swear Umbru’s reflection herself danced upon the water — but when you lift your gaze, nothing. Only the cold silence and bright moonlight surrounds you.

Path 1 – Quest 2:
The Huxlu River continues to glitter with hints of Umbru, but where is Umbru herself? It seems as if you may never find her. But suddenly, a bright light from above catches your attention. A shimmering meteor flashes across the sky, too bright and too obvious to simply be a coincidence. You follow the path that the meteor took, certain it is a sign from Umbru
Depict your beast seeing the meteor, following its direction or illustrate this part of the story.
Path 2 – Quest 1:
As you enter the forest, the dense trees block out the starlight and moonlight from above. However, little glowing mushrooms provide some light so you can still see where you are placing your feet. Some of the larger mushrooms, with their round bulbous tops, seem to shimmer with starlight from within — like a miniature globe of the night sky. Are these merely a coincidence, or a sign from Umbru herself?
Depict your beast entering the forest, seeing the mushrooms or illustrate this part of the story.
Path 2 – Quest 2:
You continue along a trail of those beautiful bioluminescent mushrooms. Then, you see bright light in the distance — much brighter than anything you’ve seen since entering the forest. Quickening your place, you come to a large clearing. The moon shines bright from above, as if Umbru herself is beaming down on the place. The grass, the leaves, the trees, even you seem to be glowing in the magnificent moonlight.

Final Quest:
A sparkle from the corner of your eye catches your attention. Sure enough, a glittering trail has appeared in the grass. It twinkles to life and leads off into the distance. After a moment, you realize it is Stardust! You excitedly follow the trail, and the small twinkling lights lead you to a grand spectacle. Umbru sits within a circle of stardust surrounding her. She is pleased with your persistence and willingness to see the journey through. But in those magnificent, glittering starry eyes, you swear you see a twinkle of playfulness in her gaze.
