Clouded Leopard
Clouded Leopard is a marking that adds large, shaded spots on the beasts’ body.
The base of these spots are darker colored, hard-edged stripes which have a circular or oval form, basically like rings. These stripes may have touching ends and create actual rings or be open in some place, leaving some space between each end. This space can be used by spots or other stripes to further indicate the ring like pattern without actually being one.
Additionally, another smaller, more blotchy stripe may be added on the inside of these circular markings.
Be careful to keep the spots round or oval, as elongated spots will imitate Ocelot, a marking very similar to Clouded Leopard!
There is also the option to add the so called inner shading. It is a soft-edged patch of a lighter color inside the circular structures which can be shown as some sort of crescent or fill the rings fully.
Spots or stripes outside of the rings are not permissible with the exception of the face in which minimal spotting and stripes may be used.
This marking was inspired by the large, shaded spotting on Clouded Leopards, feel free to take them as inspiration if you have troubles designing your beast!
