Cross
Cross is a color mutation that creates a dual colored base coat. One (1) of the two (2) colors is the original base coat color of the geno (e.g. Fawn, Earth or Dawn Ochre) while the second color is picked from any of the three (3) Night swatches. Both colors have to blend and blur into each other in a smooth, natural way.
The Night base coat may only be used by markings which are relevant to the design as reference. Markings relevant to the base must use the original base coat color!
Neither does the Night part go over any markings. Since it is part of the base coat it will always be beneath them.
Any additional markings that are present in the phenotype are optional and do not have to be added to the design.

Markings
The edges of any markings shown stay unchanged, as only the color of the base coat is affected by the mutation.

Both base coat colors have to be blended smoothly by using either soft or soft textured edges.
