Dapple
Dapple is a marking that adds soft, lighter colored spots of color on a large section of the beasts’ coat.
These spots are not placed randomly or with a lot of space between them though and should create a pattern or cluster together if no special dapple-brush was used (Dapple-brushes are mostly created by other people, they can be found on deviantArt for example). Neither should the spots be too large or be rectangular shaped like Camo for example!
The color of it can be pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) but slightly off-white colors are okay too as long as it is still recognizable as white, looks natural and is not overly yellow or blue.
This marking was inspired by dappled horses, feel free to take them as inspiration if you have troubles designing your beast!

Colors
Dapple is relevant to and will always be lighter than the base coat color of the beast.
Alternatively, Dapple may be white as well, no matter the base coat color. This includes using pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) as well as slightly off-white colors as long as they are still recognizable as white, look natural and are not overly yellow or blue.
Feel free to use the following swatch one if you feel uncomfortable picking your own colors!
Please open the sta.sh link by clicking on the swatch and save the image, as taking colors from screenshots or copy and pasted versions might influence the colors. This often leads us to not being able to find the corresponding color on the swatch and we have to send your design to corrections!
Edges
Dapple must have either a soft edge or be textured with a soft edge.
