On this page you can find everything offsprings of Hasswei, the God of the Hunt and Sun, may inherit from him. While some things such as the special marking and mutation can only be inherited and have to be in the geno to be added to your Import, other things such as the special halo, flesh color and Chimera mixture of both soft and hard edges can be added to every official offspring of Hasswei.
The following can only be inherited / used by direct offsprings of Hasswei:
– Chimera Special Case
– Halo
– Flesh color
The following can be passed down from generation to generation as long as it is present in the parents’ geno:
– Runehide
– Sunspots
Special Marking Mutation: Runehide
Runehide is a marking mutation that creates various rune-like patterns on the beasts’ body. These patterns may also have a slight glowing effect.
As for colors, any is permissible as long as it is a bright one! You can achieve a nice brightness using filters such as luminosity, color dodge, and linear dodge. Some look better than others, so make sure you choose one that looks right. Pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) is permissible as well.
It is allowed to give the marking a light gradient, however, it must stay within the same color range! Mixing blue and green for example would not be possible, whereas mixing to different hues of blue is completely fine.
Size and shape-wise it has to stay primitive and large! Tiny or script-like runes will no be accepted, same for runes looking like modern day items for example.
All markings that are present in the phenotype are mandatory and have to be added to the design.

Colors
Runehide allows for any color to be used, no matter the base coat, as long as it is a bright one. You can achieve a nice brightness using filters such as luminosity, color dodge, and linear dodge. Some look better than others, so make sure you choose one that looks right.
It is also allowed to give the marking a light gradient, however, it must stay within the same color range! Mixing blue and green for example would not be possible, whereas mixing to different hues of blue is completely fine.
Additionally, pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) may be used as well.
Edges
Runehide must have a soft or hard edge.

Ranges
Maximum Range
Runehide has no distinct maximum range but should not cover more than 35% of the beast.
Minimum Range
Runehide has no distinct minimum range, but must be present in a noticeable way on the beast.
Good examples:
Special Rare Marking: Sunspots
Sunspots is a marking that adds a spotty pattern on the lower legs of the beasts’ body.
It usually starts with covering at least the toes up to the lower foot entirely before slowly starting to break off into patches which get smaller and smaller the higher it goes up the leg.
These patches may have holes in them and the marking in general may have a fading effect.
While it has no set range it should never reach the shoulder or hip!

Can be white: No
Layering: Designer’s choice
Hides other genes: No
Colors
Sunspots is relevant to the design and will always be darker than the picked reference color.
If the design has Free White and it was chosen as a relevant color for Sunspots, Sunspots may only have grayscale colors. It cannot be used to add entirely different colors to your beast (e.g. blue-ish white color on a beast with Earth coat color)!
Edges
Sunspots must have a hard edge.

Special Case: Chimera
Direct offsprings of Hasswei have an increased chance to inherit the Chimera Mutation.
If an direct offspring has this mutation it is allowed to mix both the soft and hard edge throughout the design.
The rest is just like the normal Chimera Mutation:
Mutation: Chimera

Misc
The following attributes may be present on any official, direct offspring of Hasswei, as they are not written into the official geno.
Halo
Halos surround your beast on its Import, making it stand out a bit more before the background. The only halos permitted in Prehistoria-ARPG are soft ones; hard-edged “outlines” will not be accepted.
Any direct offspring of Hasswei may have a yellow or orange colored halo, which may look like smoke or fire along the topline of the Worg as well.
Flesh Color
The flesh may all have the same golden color as Hasswei’s paw pads. The color must be color picked from there and not from his nose or mouth and may not look overly metallic!
