On this page you can find everything offsprings of Larkka, the Goddess of Darkness and Void, may inherit from her. While some things such as the special marking and mutation can only be inherited and have to be in the geno to be added to your Import, other things such as the special halo and Stripe coloring can be added to every official offspring of Larkka.
The following can only be inherited / used by direct offsprings of Larkka:
– Melanism Special Case
– Stripe Special Case
– Halo
The following can be passed down from generation to generation as long as it is present in the parents’ geno:
– Larkka’s Touch
– Dusk
Special Marking Mutation: Larkka’s Touch
Larkka’s Touch is a marking mutation that adds black or charcoal colored patterns anywhere on the beasts’ body.
These patterns may be solid or marbled in appearance as long as the edge is soft. However, they cannot resemble Tabby for example or any other symbols, unnatural shapes or markings known from other species or animals.
By design holes within and breaks between different patches are allowed.
All markings that are present in the phenotype are mandatory and have to be added to the design.
Relevant to: –
Value: Charcoal or Black
Edge: Soft
Breaks: Yes
Holes: Yes

Colors
Larkka’s Touch is black or charcoal in color, no matter the base coat color.
Edges
Larkka’s Touch must have a soft edge.

Ranges
Maximum Range
Larkka’s Touch has no distinct maximum range but should not cover more than 60% of the beast.
Minimum Range:
Larkka’s Touch has no distinct minimum range, but must be present in a noticeable way on the beast.
Good examples:
Special Common Marking: Dusk
Dusk is a marking that gives the beast a soft, darker-colored underside. It should not have holes in any area it covers, breaks between different patches are entirely fine though!
Just like Dust, the edge of Dusk does not have to be clearly visible, and fully blending the edge into the base coat color is allowed, so the transition is not discernable anymore.
Relevant to: Base
Value: Darker
Edge: Soft
Breaks: Yes
Holes: No
Can be white: No
Layering: Designer’s choice
Hides other genes: No
Colors
Dusk is relevant to and will always be darker than the base coat color of the beast.
Edges
Dusk must have a soft edge.

Special Case: Melanism
Direct offsprings of Larkka have a higher chance of inheriting the Melanism Mutation.
The rest is just like the normal Melanism Mutation:
Color Mutation: Melanism
Special Case: Stripes
If the offspring inherited the Stripes Marking the stripes may be two-toned:
– both colors must be relative to the base coat
– the colors have to tansition in a soft and smooth gradient and may not alternate harshly between stripes
The rest is just like the normal Stripes Marking:
Uncommon Marking: Stripes

Misc
The following attributes may be present on any official, direct offspring of Larkka, as they are not written into the official geno.
Halo
Halos surround your beast on its Import, making it stand out a bit more before the background. The only halos permitted in Prehistoria-ARPG are soft ones; hard-edged “outlines” will not be accepted.
Any direct offspring of Larkka may have a very dark colored halo, which may look like smoke or fire along the topline of the Worg as well.
