Welcome!
Following rumors about a mysterious individual summoning those with great skill, your beast heads off towards the Standing Stones. Arriving they noticed Dreknar, King of Lytis, remaining silent under everyone’s burning gaze of curiosity. Finally, after a circle was formed around him, he spoke:
“Welcome, everyone. I called you all here today because you have worked very hard to sharpen your skills. Are you ready to pick a Mastery?
Congratulations! Your beast has reached Harmony Rank 10 and is now ready to choose a Mastery! But what are they exactly? Fear not, everything will be explained in more details on this page.
In short: Masteries are the ultimate challenges for your beast, which has already worked hard to reach the final Harmony Rank. At the end of it all, great rewards await!
Unlike most of our features, there are no pictures or literature required.
After choosing a specific path for your beast, you have to comment on the official Mastery thread and will start a big quest of fetching specific items throughout a total of five (5) phases. All items requested are randomly rolled, so there will be no players having the exact same experience as you! Also, the further you succeed, the harder it will get as the rarity of required items steadily rises.
Once you have all necessary items for a phase aquired, all you have to do is reply to the comment that sent you on your item hunt.
There is a total of eight (8) Mastery Paths, each one based on our available activities:
- Hunting
- Fishing
- Discovery
- Foraging
- Expeditions
- Quest
- Boss Battle
- Polyvalent (Regular Activities and Expeditions)
Generally, each beast may only complete one (1) path at a time.
At the end, once you finished all phases, you will get a reward for your effort. This reward includes four (4) guaranteed items every player will get. Those include Beads, Trait Shards, a special badge for your beast’s Import as well as a new Trait. Additionally, there is a reward pool you may pick one (1) extra reward from. You can find an overview of what is available a bit further below, right after the rules!
By using a Mysterious Statuette item it is possible to remove the previously chosen path and do a completely different one. However, note that only the guaranteed rewards will be handed out and you may no longer pick an extra reward if you choose to change your beast’s Mastery!
Rules / requirements:
- Only beasts having officially reached Harmony Rank 10 may access Masteries
- All requested items for the different phases must be in your stash
- Items can be obtained in various ways, for example through activities, the Rahutu Trading Post or trading with other players
- No type of token may be used to fulfill a request
- Only one (1) beast per comment is allowed in the Mastery thread
Guaranteed rewards upon completion:
- One (1) Master of the Wilds Trait (bonus depending on the chosen path)
- Hunting, Fishing, Discovery, Foraging, Expeditions: Increases the chance to find rare items significantly
- Polyvalent: Increases the chance to find rare items significantly, but less compared to the single activity paths
- Quest: High chance for an additional Overflowing Treasure Chest to drop for Monthly Quests; Small chance for the Seasonal Adventure end reward to double
- Boss Battle: Increases the chance for critical hits significantly
- 10 000 Beads
- 40 Trait Shards
- A special Mastery Badge
Extra rewards to pick from:
- One (1) Primal Trait of your choice
- Will be applied to the beast having done the Masteries
- This option can only be picked if the beast does not have two (2) or more Primal Traits already
- One (1) Physical, Color or Marking Mutation of your choice
- Will be applied to the beast having done the Masteries
- Mutation must be available for the beast’s species
- One (1) custom Import BG
- Will be applied to the beast having done the Masteries
- Rules:
- The beast must stand on some kind of ground. It cannot float in the air or water
- It is possible to use any place of the Prehistoria world including Expedition islands
- Be careful to stay in our time setting. Too modern looking backgrounds will be denied!
- One (1) God Import BG of your choice
- One (1) Master Crafting Item of your choice
- One (1) Lyti Custom
- Limit of once per player
