Jackal
Jackal is a marking that adds a small, hard-edged and darker colored blanket on top of the beast.
It is similar to Garter, however, has a small range and allows for darker colors only.
Additionally, the marking has the option of so called “Jackal streaks”, which are thin and lighter colored streaks inside the blanket. These are not mandatory though and can be left away!
This marking was inspired by Black-Backed Jackals, feel free to take them as inspiration if you have troubles designing your beast!

Design Notes
Jackal streaks
Jackal streaks are very thin streaks added in top of the blanket. This feature is optional and does not have to be added!
They are relevant to and will always be lighter than the base coat color of the beast and may have either a hard or slightly soft edge. It is not allowed to make them too soft and blend them into the blanket, we must be able to see a clear edge despite it being soft!
