Raindrop
Raindrop is a marking that adds a large, soft-edged or textured blanket on the beast.
This blanket must cover at least 50% of the design and can be put into any areas of the body. It is entirely possible to have Raindrop covering the whole body as well!
Another key feature are the small, equally soft-edged or textured holes spread all of the big blanket.
If both Appaloosa and Raindrop are present in the same phenotype, it is allowed to “merge” them together, meaning there is no distinction between either marking possible, as there is no visible edge.
Be careful with the size of the holes as well! If they are made too big the marking can imitate Pied very easily, even if the edges are different.
The color of it can be pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) but slightly off-white colors are okay too as long as it is still recognizable as white, looks natural and is not overly yellow or blue.

Colors
Raindrop is relevant to and will always be lighter than the base coat color of the beast.
Alternatively, Raindrop may be white as well, no matter the base coat color. This includes using pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) as well as slightly off-white colors as long as they are still recognizable as white, look natural and are not overly yellow or blue.
Feel free to use the following swatch one if you feel uncomfortable picking your own colors!
Please open the sta.sh link by clicking on the swatch and save the image, as taking colors from screenshots or copy and pasted versions might influence the colors. This often leads us to not being able to find the corresponding color on the swatch and we have to send your design to corrections!
Edges
Raindrop must have a soft edge or be textured with a soft edge.
Design Notes
Raindrop vs Pied
Both Raindrop and Pied can be very similar. However, unlike Pied, Raindrop may not have any breaks and will always be an intact, giant patch on the beasts’ body. Additionally, there is a difference in the holes: while Pied only allows for hard-edged ones, Raindrop requires small, soft or textured-edged holes.

However, be careful of old designs as they might be illegal by now due to previous rule changes!
Please do not just copy existing designs either, as those are the property of their designer!
