Arctic
Arctic is a marking that adds large, white and soft-edged or textured patches on the beasts’ body.
It is similar to Pied and allows for both holes within and breaks between the different patches.
There is also the option of adding small, hard-edged ticks or stripes along the edges and slightly outside. Be careful to not imitate markings like Spotting or Speckles though!
The color of it can be pure white (HEX: #FFFFFF, RGB: rgb(255,255,255)) but slightly off-white colors are okay too as long as it is still recognizable as white, looks natural and is not overly yellow or blue.
This marking was inspired by a process called molting (turning their regular summer coat into a white winter coat) which can be seen in various animals like arctic foxes, feel free to take them as inspiration if you have troubles designing your beast!

Feel free to use the following swatch one if you feel uncomfortable picking your own colors!
Please open the sta.sh link by clicking on the swatch and save the image, as taking colors from screenshots or copy and pasted versions might influence the colors. This often leads us to not being able to find the corresponding color on the swatch and we have to send your design to corrections!
Edges
Arctic must have either a soft edge or be textured with a soft edge.
Design Notes
Accents
Accents are hard-edged and short stripes. They should not roam too far away from the original marking though, to avoid imitating markings like Spotting or Speckles.
